1. April: Synlife establishes strategic partnership with the Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences to co-develop bulk bio-based monomer products from methanol feedstock.
2. May: Completes tens of millions of yuan in Pre-A+ round financing. Forms strategic alliance with Mingzhuang Environmental Protection at China Beauty Expo to jointly advance sustainable packaging applications for bio-based materials.
3. June: Sipeng's “AI-Empowered Intelligent Cell Factory Design System” selected for Shanghai's 2025 Key R&D Program on “Synthetic Biology”
4. August: Completed construction of a thousand-ton-scale flexible synthetic biology production line in Rugao, accelerating leapfrog development in synthetic biomanufacturing
5. September: Sipeng Technology received Shanghai's “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative” enterprise designation and Zhangjiang Demonstration Zone special development funding support; made its debut as an independent exhibitor at the China International Industry Fair (CIIF), winning the “CIIF Bio-Manufacturing Special Award”; Sipeng products were also selected for the “2025 Shanghai Souvenir Gift” list.
6. November: Sipeng Technology emerged from over 660 global teams to rank among the top 50 in Tencent's “Carbon Quest 2.0” initiative;
The “Negative Carbon Bio-materials” science outreach hub was established at its Shanghai headquarters, becoming a key public education window for synthetic biology.
