On the afternoon of July 18, Ning Hai, Party Branch Secretary and Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Consumer Rights Protection Commission, accompanied by Cai En, Director of the Guidance Department, and Chen Zuyao, President of the Shanghai Food Safety Work Federation, visited Sipeng Technology for research and guidance. A symposium was convened to engage in in-depth discussions regarding the company's development status and the commercialization promotion of the biomanufacturing industry, during which valuable suggestions were offered. Professor Xu Ping, Chief Scientist of the company, and other representatives accompanied the delegation throughout the visit and attended the symposium.
During the symposium, the company first briefed attending leaders on its innovative development model based on Jiaotong University's technology transfer, its core technologies and product pipeline strategy, and its progress over the past three years since establishment. Leaders from the Municipal Consumer Council and Municipal Food Safety Alliance provided a series of recommendations aligned with market dynamics and policy directions, clarifying the path forward for the company's operations and the biomanufacturing industry's development.

Secretary-General Ning Hai expressed strong interest in the company's freshness-preserving product line, emphasizing that such products directly impact food safety. He stressed that they must undergo systematic testing and obtain authoritative certification before entering the market. He also suggested that bio-based materials could actively expand their application scenarios in other industries.
Chairman Chen Zuyao encouraged the company to join the Shanghai Green Environmental Catering Takeout Packaging Alliance (in preparation). Together with the association, the company should actively participate in developing group standards exceeding national standards and create more cost-effective, bio-based, environmentally friendly, and biodegradable products urgently needed by the market.
Minister Cai En encouraged the company to leverage its product strengths for market expansion. The Biowatol series of diol products, jointly developed with Angel Yeast, offers excellent antibacterial properties and added value, demonstrating strong market potential. Combined with the company's bio-based packaging materials, it could explore comprehensive collaborations with several key industrial clusters in Shanghai.
Professor Xu Ping expressed gratitude for the care and support from leaders at all levels in Shanghai. He noted that the bio-based materials industry, built upon advanced biomanufacturing technologies, has the potential to become a trillion-dollar new frontier. Our team has been deeply rooted in this sector for over 20 years. Since the company's establishment, we have gained recognition and support from state-owned capital and industries, including SDIC Group, Shanghai SDIC, and Angel Yeast. We are actively advancing industrialization and commercialization.
Currently, the company's proprietary Yogtic series of new materials has been successfully commercialized (serving renowned brands such as Hero Pens and Japanese Platinum). We look forward to transforming more outstanding proprietary technological reserves into new technologies, products, and industries with the strong support of leaders at all levels.

Professor Xu Ping introduced the company's products and technologies to the visiting guests.
Following the symposium, Professor Xu Ping led the attending leaders on a tour of the company's R&D laboratories and small-scale pilot production facility, providing a detailed explanation of the ongoing research and production of bio-based materials.

Professor Xu Ping introduced the material research and production process to the guests.
This research has provided the company with valuable insights for future development. We will actively implement the recommendations, steadily advancing in areas such as compliance, policy promotion, and downstream expansion, thereby contributing our utmost to consumers and industry growth. We look forward to maintaining close communication with the Municipal Consumer Protection Commission and the Municipal Food Safety Alliance, striving for higher-quality development under the guidance and support of all sectors of society!
