In September 2025, the 25th China International Industry Fair (CIIF) was grandly held in Shanghai. As one of the representative enterprises in the New Materials Exhibition Area, Shanghai SYNLIFE Technology Co., Ltd. showcased multiple bio-based materials and products at the event. The company was honored with the “CIIF Bio-Manufacturing Special Award” for its innovative biomaterial—the bio-based resin Yogtic-05C.

Yogtic Bio-Based Fashion — In the summer of 2025, this T-shirt custom-designed by Sipeng Technology for Shanghai Jiao Tong University went on sale at the university's souvenir shop. Made entirely from PLA fiber, its polyester fabric is skin-friendly, antibacterial, cool to the touch, and quick-drying. The design features five iconic symbols of Jiao Tong University, accompanied by a poem that pays tribute to the relentless dedication of Jiao Tong scholars working day and night on research breakthroughs, while evoking warm memories of alma mater for its students.

Yogtic-05C Series Cosmetic Packaging Materials — A mature cosmetic packaging solution that combines transparency, mechanical strength, texture, processability, and sustainability. Replacing petrochemical plastics with bio-based alternatives, it balances tactile appeal with eco-friendly properties. Suitable for daily chemical, skincare, and color cosmetics packaging, it meets both functional and aesthetic demands while advancing the sustainability of cosmetic packaging.


YOGTIC Plant Fiber Injection Resin Series and 05D, 15D Injection Compounds—This series incorporates natural elements such as green tea fibers, pomegranate seeds, coffee grounds, and camellia flowers into YOGTIC injection resins, creating sheet or compound materials with distinctive textures. The 05D and 15D injection molding pellets are suitable for mold injection, offering high strength and toughness alongside premium tactile properties. They demonstrate the new potential of agricultural byproducts in material applications, providing sustainable solutions for consumer goods, packaging, and industrial products.

On September 24 and 25, the 2025 Bio-Manufacturing Innovation Forum, hosted by the Shanghai Synthetic Biology Industry Association, was held concurrently. Centered on the theme “Intelligent Bio-Manufacturing Empowering Future Industries,” this year's forum explored three key areas: industrial frontiers, technological empowerment, and application implementation, comprehensively showcasing the latest achievements in the integrated development of AI and bio-manufacturing. Sipeng Technology was invited to participate in the forum activities.

Zhang Chengjin, Deputy Inspector of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, pointed out that cutting-edge technologies such as synthetic biology are reshaping industrial landscapes. Shanghai will continue to drive the high-quality development of bio-manufacturing.
